About the Show

HOTELEX Shanghai — the 35th Shanghai International Hospitality Equipment & Food Service Expo — is one of Asia's largest trade platforms for the hospitality and food service industry. The 2027 edition runs from 30 March to 2 April at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), covering equipment, tableware, food ingredients, coffee and tea, bakery and ice cream, wine and spirits, food machinery, packaging and franchise resources across 14 sectors.

The show is held alongside the Shanghai Tourism Industry Expo, forming a combined platform of 700,000 sqm across the Pudong and Puxi venues — a "tourism, catering and hotel" joint exhibition covering food, accommodation, transport, travel, shopping and entertainment. More than 5,000 exhibitors group-wide are expected to meet an estimated 400,000 trade buyers, making it the spring sourcing season's one-stop platform for the industry.

Visitor Information

Opening hours — 09:00 to 17:30 daily; the show closes at 15:00 on the final day (2 April).

Admission — the exhibition is trade-only and free of charge for pre-registered trade visitors. On-site admission requires your registration QR code together with a passport or Chinese ID card. Visitors under 18 are not admitted.

Getting there — the venue is in the Hongqiao business district, about 1.5 km from Hongqiao Railway Station and Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2. Take Metro Line 2 to National Exhibition and Convention Center Station (exits 4, 5 or 6), or Metro Line 17 to Zhuguang Road Station. Taxi from Hongqiao Airport or Railway Station takes around 10 minutes.
